How to use Chief Architect as a design tool in the Design/Build process
Course Description  
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The class will start by building a simple house structure documenting existing conditions. Each week following, the participants will build a different component to the project by adding different spaces that reflect common additions and remodels – i.e., a family room addition, dormers, garage and kitchen remodel. We will also explore how to add high quality images for your 3d views and change colors and textures so that it will meet or exceed your client’s expectations.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
Documenting the existing conditions – creating the as-built drawings
Showing as-built on the proposed plan
Building a simple terrain model and adding landscaping features

kitchen remodel

Presenting rendered 3D views – interior and exterior views
Working with 3d surfaces
Adjusting light sources for different visual effects
